What To Expect
At South Bay Fit Camp, we take recess very seriously.
Our classes are for participants of all fitness levels, and employ wide variety of games, activities and exercises to make your workouts as fun as they are effective. Expect to laugh a lot, and leave sweaty, refreshed, and impressed by what you've accomplished that day!
We welcome and encourage beginners, advanced exercisers and everyone in between, so we'll help you gear your workout towards your individual goals, regardless of injury or experience. With a great instructor-student ratio, everyone is challenged appropriately, and NO ONE is left behind.
We meet outdoors, rain or shine, so weather is something to consider. We advise dressing in layers (even on chilly days, you will warm up) and wearing sunscreen, water-friendly clothing and comfortable athletic shoes. You may get a little dirty, so wear clothes you don't mind dusting off...
What to Bring
- 3- to 8-lb dumbbells (ask us if you are unsure which is right for you)
- water bottle
- yoga-type mat (available at Target, Kmart, sporting goods stores, etc.)
- all-purpose or jogging stroller (for MOMMY class)
- a great attitude =)
